This campaign celebrates the meeting of two cultures through a single, unexpected product. A classic Belgian waffle travels to Madinah, where it is transformed by the city’s most iconic ingredient: Ajwa dates. Ajwa is not just a flavor, it is part of Madinah’s identity, history, and soul. By filling the waffle with Ajwa, the product becomes more than a dessert; it becomes local. The hero film follows a foreign character, representing the Belgian waffle, arriving in Madinah. As he experiences the city, its people, and its spirit, he slowly changes, becoming one of them. By the end, he is no longer just Belgian. He is Madinian. This story mirrors the product itself: A global classic reimagined through the culture of Madinah, resulting in a new creation, The Madinah Waffle.
